Certificate Rescan

The ‘Certificate Rescan’ feature is used to discover SSL/TLS certificate changes across the QuantaStor Storage Grid. A rescan forces the system to audit the certificate store on each node to ensure that the Web Management Interface (WUI) and other services are displaying the most current certificate data.
This is useful after manual file replacements, grid-wide updates, or when a newly added node needs to inherit the certificate state of the existing grid.
When to Use Certificate Rescan
- After Manual Updates: If you have manually replaced certificate files on the backend via SSH.
- Troubleshooting: When a certificate template has been updated but the change is not reflecting in the browser or S3 client.
- New Node Integration: After adding a new node to a cluster to ensure it has indexed all shared certificate templates.
