Rollback Storage Replication to the last replicant.

The "Rollback Storage Replication" feature in QuantaStor is designed to restore a replicated storage volume or dataset to a previous state. Replication is a process that involves creating and maintaining a copy of data on multiple storage systems, typically for data protection or disaster recovery purposes.

When replication is enabled in QuantaStor, the Rollback feature allows you to revert the replicated data on the target system back to a specific point in time. This can be useful in scenarios where data corruption or unintended changes occur, and you need to restore the data to a known good state.

By utilizing the Rollback Storage Replication feature, you can effectively "roll back" the target storage system to a previous state, ensuring data consistency and integrity. It helps in recovering from errors, malware attacks, or accidental data modifications by reverting the replicated data to a known, desired state.

WARNING: Rollback copies the data from your replication checkpoint to the replication source. This facilitates recovering data from a DR failover site volume or share which has been modified. Be careful as the contents of the ROLLBACK TARGET WILL BE OVERWRITTEN by the contents of the rollback source.
