QSN-8938-1: cifs-utils vulnerability

Summary
cifs-utils could be made to run programs as an administrator.
Details
It was discovered that cifs-utils incorrectly handled credentials files used by privileged mount.cifs invocations. A local attacker could possibly use this issue to inject arbitrary mount options into a privileged mount, resulting in a privilege escalation.

Internally-facing: only accessible when logged into the QuantaStor console/ssh as the qadmin administrative sudo user; generally lower priority. Externally-facing: part of a service the storage platform presents on the network (or the kernel), so potentially reachable over the network.
