A Ceph Journal Device or Write-Ahead Log (WAL) device will map Object Storage Daemon (OSD) partitions to a logical partition on an SSD drive. Journals are flash based storage used to accelerate the write performance of OSDs.
Navigation: Scale-out Storage Configuration --> Scale-out Storage Cluster --> Storage Media --> Create Journal (toolbar)
