Object Storage Devices (OSDs) provide the data storage for a given Ceph Cluster. Journal or WAL Devices are flash based storage used to accelerate the write performance of OSDs. Select a data and WAL device to be added as an OSD BlueStore storage device for the Cluster. A Journal is not necessary when the data device selection is an SSD.
