User Group Create

Create a User Group.

User groups are a convenience type to make multi-tenant configurations easier to manage. You can assign one or more user groups to a storage cloud. Storage clouds combine resources (like storage pools, storage volumes, and network shares) with users and so they that those users can do self-service provisioning and other common storage management tasks.

The POSIX Group ID, GID, to be associated with the specified user account. New files and directories created within Network Shares via NFS/SMB by this user will be associated with this GID.

Navigation: Users & Groups --> User Group --> Create (toolbar)
