The prior text stated maintenance mode delivers seamless failover with uninterrupted service and redistributed workloads; verified live it is the opposite - pacemaker stops managing resources, VIFs become unmanaged and a move fails. An admin following it would enter maintenance mode before hardware work and leave resources pinned and unprotected (QSTOR-12352))
