The purpose of the "Modify S3 Bucket" feature in QuantaStor is to enable administrators to manage and configure the settings of an S3 bucket within the QuantaStor system. Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service) is a popular object storage service provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS), and it is widely used for storing and retrieving large amounts of unstructured data, such as images, videos, backups, log files, and more.

In QuantaStor, the "Modify Object Bucket" feature allows you to:

*Create and Manage Buckets: You can create new S3 buckets or modify existing ones. Buckets are containers for storing objects (files) in Amazon S3. With this feature, you can create and manage these buckets directly from QuantaStor's interface.
*Manage Policies: You can modify common policy settings associated with a given Object Bucket including options like NFS access and Veeam SOSAPI integration.

*Set Bucket Policies: Amazon S3 allows you to define access control policies for your buckets to manage who can access and perform actions on the objects stored in them. QuantaStor's "Modify S3 Bucket" feature enables you to set and adjust these access policies as needed.
*Manage Quotas: You can modify the bucket specific quota to limit the amount of data that can be uploaded / PUT into the bucket.

*Configure Bucket Properties: You can modify various properties of the S3 buckets, such as logging settings, versioning, transfer acceleration, and more. This gives you greater control over how your data is handled within the S3 buckets managed by QuantaStor.
